We're getting married island style and we hope each of you can be there! Our wedding will be on the beautiful island of Jamaica at Beaches Boscobel all-inclusive resort in Ocho Rios. Our resort includes meals, drinks, snorkeling, diving and so many activities that our wedding will be the event of the year! Melinda of Dreams and Destinations Travel is the travel agent we are working with. She has arranged great group amenities for our guests and is available to answer any questions you might have and assist you with your travel arrangements. Margo was born in Leesburg, VA to Mr. and Mrs. James Corum. She grew up with five siblings, four brothers and one sister, James, Kevin, Randy, Tracy, and Felicia. Margo graduated from George Mason University in 2000 with a degree in Biology and Geology. After completing her degree she began her career at the US Geological Survey. Margo currently resides in Arlington, VA.
Kirk was born in Washington, DC to the late Mr. Wilton Chatman and Ms. Elaine Hawkins. He has two beautiful younger sisters LaDonna and Ashley. Kirk joined the United States Air Force immediately out of high school and spent the first 10 years as an active duty member and the last 15 as a traditional reservist. Currently he works for Sprint Long Distance Division and is also a realtor in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Kirk currently resides in Fort Washington, MD.
In 2001 Margo and Kirk's paths crossed on the African island of Zanibar. Margo was out celebrating Stacey’s birthday on the waterfront, when their paths (literally) crossed. While Stacey and Margo were enjoying drinks on the deck, Margo had to excuse herself to the ladies room. Upon waiting for all of the individuals headed down the one way stairs to the deck, Kirk tripped down the stairs. After laughs, they caught eyes and the rest is history.
